Characteristics
MECAS is a fully automatic assembly and capping system that complements the SYFPAC® LVP range where EURO type caps are required. MECAS consists of two units connected to each other by a conveyor belt: 1. The first unit, named T2, assembles the Euro caps onto the container head immediately after placing a drop of water for injection between the cap and the bottle head. This operation contributes to the effective sterilization of the space between the cap and the head of the bottle during the final sterilization. 2. The second and last production station is called 9Z and is designed to seal the vial cap by injection molding. This unit is equipped with separate hot runner injection units to have complete control over each station. The MECAS system is gateless, so there is no plastic waste during production.
