Microdosing devices are based on PTS technology and allow very small amounts (<1mg) of powder to be accurately and quickly dispensed in less than a second. High accuracy, up to 1% RSD, is achieved even with changes in bulk density, since the powder in the chamber is pre-compacted under vacuum. Compared to typical mechanical dosing devices such as auger systems, devices based on PTS technology can achieve higher accuracy over a larger range of amounts from 1 mg to several grams because the system is less affected by changes in powder properties. Depending on the amount of powder dispensed, Dec has developed different dosing systems to achieve the best performance in terms of accuracy, speed and investment.
