Seminar "Optimization of freeze-drying technology in obtaining a high-quality product"
On March 22, a seminar "Optimization of freeze-drying technology in obtaining a high-quality product" was held at the St. Petersburg Chemical and Pharmaceutical University.
The seminar was organized by LLC X-TECH with the support of the St. Petersburg State University of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences of the Ministry of Health of Russia and the Regional Engineering Center of the AFS Technopark of St. Petersburg.
The aim of the seminar is to acquaint the participants with the advantages of freeze-drying process for obtaining a high-quality product.
Welcoming remarks were made by the Chairman of the Board of the Association of Pharmaceutical Producers of the Eurasian Economic Union, Dmitry Chagin, rector of St. Petersburg State University of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences Igor Narkevitch, director of the Regional center of engineering APS JSC "St. Petersburg Technopark" Elena Petrova and General Director of "X-TECH" Dmitry Polstyanov.
During the seminar the following issues were discussed: the theory of freeze drying, the hardware design of freeze-drying plants, practical methods of transfer of freeze drying regimes (Alexander Didenko); optimization of the technological process, control of product parameters during automatic loading, technical means of controlling the process and control of the dried product, the effect of the equipment on the quality of the product, risks in the technological process, automatic loading on frozen shelves (Dmitry Polstyanov).
Radion Tcoi, an expert with more than 20 years of experience working with pharmaceutical equipment, answered numerous questions related to the nuances of the freeze-drying process.
More than 100 people took part in the seminar, among them - engineers-technologists, leading experts of pharmaceutical enterprises, researchers. As a result of the seminar, all the participants were awarded personal certificates of the St. Petersburg State University of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences of the Ministry of Health of Russia.
We are sure that the seminar will help to introduce the freeze-drying process and improve the process on the existing equipment of Russian pharmaceutical companies.
