Resume of educational seminar "Modern technological solutions for efficient vaccine production"
On March 12, 2019, a seminar was held at the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation on the use of innovative technologies for the production of vaccines. The seminar was organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the company X-Tech, with the support of FBU GILS and NP. The workshop was organized for Russian specialists in the field of vaccine production and pharmaceutical industry specialists who would like to receive information on vaccine production technology.
Among the invited participants of the seminar were representatives of the regulatory bodies of the Russian Federation, specialists from foreign companies, partners of the company X-Tech, producing pharmaceutical equipment, as well as representatives of the largest Russian pharmaceutical companies.
During the seminar, important topics such as new technologies for cleaning and separating vaccines were highlighted, which are directly related to the need to constantly maintain and improve the level of safety in the production of medicines; the use of disposable bioreactors that help stabilize production processes and use raw materials more efficiently and more economically than was possible before. The significant advantages of using BFS technology (Blow – Fill – Seal), which offers several progressive solutions to reduce production costs and improve the quality of all technical processes, were discussed in detail, and the topic of tangential cross filtering was presented as a new integrated solution in modern production technology vaccines.

New in the program of the seminar was the holding of a competition on the subject of the seminar for students of Sechenovsky University (First MSMU named after Sechenov). Students successfully demonstrated their knowledge and received prizes for 1, 2 and 3 places.
